The Ny Consulting Scandinavian investor Climate Report
On March 4th, NY Consulting released the 2021 edition of the Scandinavian Investor Climate Report. The publication is an independent analysis of opportunities and improvement areas of the investor climate in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. It is based on more than 30 in-depth interviews with Venture Capital funds, Corporate Venture Capital funds, innovation supporting agencies and industry organizations as well as quantitative database analysis.
The key findings uncover an expanding Scandinavian life science ecosystem with great output and investment opportunities. The unique multilateral trading facility markets (Nasdaq First North, Spotlight Stock market and Euronext Growth) offers alternative funding avenues that were proven resilient during the Covid-19 crisis in 2020.
The future is bright for the region if it can combine the Scandinavian countries individual strengths to compete with other leading regions on scientific commercialization and attracting the best talent and access to capital.
